Victory over Gloucester

Our Three Cities team, captained by Steve Fleet, opened their new campaign with a huge 30 pins victory over Gloucester at the Military Club.

This was an excellent result when considering that Gloucester had thrashed Worcester by 48 pins in their opening match the previous month.
Andy Chambers topped the scoring on 61 which contained a 17 in the 5th leg. This spare was immediately followed up with another from Colin Walters and set them well on their way to victory.
Colin holds the record for the highest individual score in Three Cities history with 85 pins. He achieved this amazing score against Worcester at the old Hereford United Social Club on 2nd March 1991. See scorecard below:

The current team are in action again on Saturday 6th December when the travel to Worcester where they'll be hoping to repeat their previous performance there when they won 650-637 (on 4th January 2014).

Each Teams Top Performing Player

A couple of months into the new season and most teams have played at least five or six matches so their averages tables are settling down to reveal a true picture of who their best performing players are.
Having looked through the pages of all 25 teams who publish their scores on our league website I discovered there is none better than Fire Bridage's Shaun Stevenson. After scoring a superb 46 in their opening match against Phoenix Nights his fine form has continued with efforts of 38, 31, 37, 41, 35 and 45 making his average to date a superb 39 pins.

The table below shows who is leading the way in each teams averages table:

If your best player is not in the table above yet your team makes the effort to calculate player averages why not consider publishing them on our website?
It's easy to do, so just get in touch by clicking on the 'Contact us' button on the web site and we'll show you how.
